I would LOVE to do something like this someday! I like your Chevy Volt videos too.
I hear that a lot lately, especially the past 6 months… tipping point maybe….
I live in So. California. I just got a similar system on my roof. No money down, payments (12 year loan) lower than my monthly utility bill. Designed to be net zero. We also have a Volt. My assumption (like many others’) was that you had to spend a lot of money up front to go solar. Here, at least, there are many companies that will get you into full (or mostly ) solar with no money up front and money savings from the beginning. Most are 20 year leases, which may not be quite as good as a purchase, but much more common and still much better than the utility company.
That’s a good point, solar leasing is a much cheaper option and you can “freeze” a portion or all of your electric bill for a certain time period…
Thank you very much for this video. It is interesting. I would like to know that is it easy to maintain such a device? Will this device last longer enough to do benefit us both economically and environmentally?
